MINUTES
The Tree Conservation Board met at 7:15 P.M. on March 19,1990
in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall. The meeting was
called to order by Chairman Dezmond Waters. Board members
present were: Peggy Cornelius, Sandra Sheppard and Carolyn
Woods. Others is attendance were: Brenda Dockery, the Official
Board designee; Lyman Fletcher, member of the Beautification
Committee and Chairman of the Sub-Committee for Ordinance Study;
and Carl Walker, Beautification Coordinator.
Brenda Dockery presented the Board members with samples of the
type of documents which would be used by the Board when review-
ing exceptions to the Tree Ordinance.
The Board decided, unanimously, to invite Larry Figart, County
Forester with the Florida State Forestry Division, to all
future meetings as an ex officio member of the Board.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 P.M. by Chairman Waters who
invited the Board Members to remain and attend the Tree Or-
dinance Revision meeting which followed and was chaired by Ly-
man Fletcher.
