Comments: Reviewed by: Date: Revised 05114/09 From: William Radtke 490 Sailfish Drive East Atlantic Beach, Fl 32233 To City of Atlantic Beach, I am requesting to build a six (6') foot privacy fence around my back yard. The existing fence is a four (4') foot chain link fence and provides little security and privacy. I currently have a 14 year old daughter and have caught one young man trying to gain her attention by knocking on her window. The privacy fence would help distract young men from trying to get her attention or worse. It would also give us the privacy as a family to enjoy family time with little distractions or people driving by and making whistling noises at my family. As a member of the law enforcement community and an Army Reservist, I am concerned for my family's safety and well being. I am gone for periods of time and feel this would add some piece of mind and a safe boundary for my family. I have enclosed a copy of my boundary survey with notes and locations for my planed fence. I will be using dog- eared, board on board panels as the fence. I will also be using 4x4x8 and 4x4x10 as the posts. The posts will be buried approximately two feet deep with concrete form/ footing to secure them. They will be spaced out approximately every four (4') feet to ensure the integrity of the fence. The fence will have two exits on either side of the home. The planed exits and doors are documented on the survey as well. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
