The comments below refer to the 43 Stanley Road Project.
1. NFPA 1 - 18.2.3.1.1 Approved fire department access roads shall be provided for every facility, building, or portion of a
building hereafter constructed or relocated.
2. NFPA 1 - 18.2.3.4.1.1 Fire department access roads shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 20 ft.
3. NFPA 101 - 7.10.1.3 Provide Tactile Signage at each door requiring an Exit sign. Signage to be mounted on latch side of
door, 60" AFF.
4. NFPA 1- 11.1.7.1* Means shall be provided for the fire department to disconnect the electrical service to a building,
structure, or facility when the electrical installation is covered under the scope of NFPA 70.
11.1.7.2 The disconnecting means shall be maintained accessible to the fire department.
11.1.7.3 Identification of Disconnecting Means.
11.1.7.3.1 Each disconnecting means shall be legibly marked to indicate its purpose unless located and arranged so the
purpose is evident.
11.1.7.3.2 The marking shall be of sufficient durability to withstand the environment involved.
5. NFPA 101 - 42.2.8.1 Means of egress shall be illuminated in accordance with Section 7.8.
6. NFPA 101 - 42.2.9 Emergency Lighting. Emergency lighting shall be provided in normally occupied storage
occupancies in accordance with Section 7.9, except for spaces occupied only during daylight hours with natural
illumination in accordance with 42.2.8.2.
7. NFPA 101 - 42.2.10 Marking of Means of Egress. Means of egress shall have signs in accordance with Section 7.10.
8. NFPA 1- 13.6.1.2 (Table) Provide fire extinguishers
9. Answer all comments in written narrative with clouded / revised plans.

The comments below refer to the 43 Stanley Road Project.
1. NFPA 1 - 18.2.3.1.1 Approved fire department access roads shall be provided for every facility, building, or portion of a
building hereafter constructed or relocated.
2. NFPA 1 - 18.2.3.4.1.1 Fire department access roads shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 20 ft.
3. NFPA 101 - 7.10.1.3 Provide Tactile Signage at each door requiring an Exit sign. Signage to be mounted on latch side or/
door, 60" AFF.
4. NFPA 1- 11.1.7.1* Means shall be provided for the fire department to disconnect the electrical service to a building,
structure, or facility when the electrical installation is covered under the scope of NFPA 70.
11.1.7.2 The disconnecting means shall be maintained accessible to the fire department.
11.1.7.3 Identification of Disconnecting Means.
11.1.7.3.1 Each disconnecting means shall be legibly marked to indicate its purpose unless located and arranged so the
purpose is evident.
11.1.7.3.2 The marking shall be of sufficient durability to withstand the environment involved.
5. NFPA 101 - 42.2.8.1 Means of egress shall be illuminated in accordance with Section 7.8.
6. NFPA 101 - 42.2.9 Emergency Lighting. Emergency lighting shall be provided in normally occupied storage
occupancies in accordance with Section 7.9, except for spaces occupied only during daylight hours with natural
illumination in accordance with 42.2.8.2.
7. NFPA 101 - 42.2.10 Marking of Means of Egress. Means of egress shall have signs in accordance with Section 7.10.
8. NFPA 1- 13.6.1.2 (Table) Provide fire extinguishers
9. Answer all comments in written narrative with clouded / revised plans.

Dear Mr. Satani:
Please be advised, this letter is to inform you that permit number 11 -1633 issued for work
at the above referenced address expired on December 30, 2011 in accordance with the
Florida Building Code Section 105.4.1 which states "Every permit shall become invalid
unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced within six months after its
issuance, or if the work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period
of six months after the time the work is commenced." Work is considered abandoned
when an approved inspection is not obtained within a six -month period.
Failure to obtain an approved inspection within the next thirty days will result in
additional fees being required to renew your permit as required by Section 6- 26(a)(9) of
the City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances to wit:
