The cost to connect to City water will be a combination of your plumbing costs to connect from your house to the
property line, plus the following costs to get water from the main to your property line. For a standard %" water tap &
meter:
Tap & Meter installation charge = $ 800
System Development Charge (impact fee) = $1,140
Cross Connection inspection fee = $ 50
Total = $1,990
To start the process, go to City Hall to the Bldg. Dept. desk. I sent a Water /Sewer Tap application that you can sign. Once
the fees are paid, a service order will be generated for us to install the tap & meter for your plumber to connect to.
