SUBJECT: Follow-up Report
Atlantic Beach Athletic Association Charitable Contribution; When the contract for use of
Russell Park was presented to the City Commission for approval at the last regular meeting, a
question came up about an expenditure on the profit and loss statement submitted by ABAA
listed as "charitable contributions" for $2,150. The President of the association has since
reported that this was a donation made to a family whose child died in an accident for the
purpose of helping with the funeral.
Lightine Under Awning on Atlantic Boulevard; A question was raised at the last meeting
,~„ about city lighting standards being met under the awning on Atlantic Boulevard next to the
Ragtime Restaurant. David Thompson has advised that the location exceeds the city's
requirements for lighting.
