AGENDA ITEM: Annual Janitorial Service for City Facilities

BACKGROUND: Over the past year, Atlantic Coast Total Office Care, Inc has provided
the City with janitorial services. They have demonstrated excellent
~ professionalismand have done a good job maintaining the cleanliness
of city facilities.
The City has spoken with Atlantic Coast Total Office Care, Inc regarding
an extension for one year at the current rates and they have agreed to
renew the current contract at the same price. Per Bid No. 0203-8: "The
„~„ City reserves the right to renew contracts for two additional one year
periods pending a mutual agreement between the City, the vendor and a
~,,,,, review of the contract performance by vendor for the previous year ".
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend the City Commission extend the janitorial contract to
~„ Atlantic Coast Total Office Care, Inc. for one (1) additional year to
Expire on August 31, 2005.
BUDGET: No additional cost.
