by the City of Atlantic Beach Building Department. The notice allows 45 days for the
owner to respond by bringing the property into compliance or by appealing the decision
of the Building Official to condemn the property.
- As of todays date this case will be turned over to the Community Development
Director to be demolished.

condemnation on June 26, 1998.
The owners have acknowledged receipt of notice and have not chosen to appeal
the condemnation.
Please include this structure in future Community Development Block Grants for
demolition.

On June 24, 1998 1 posted the property at 1925 Mayport Road with a
condemnation notice. Under Section 103.2 of the Standard Housing Code this
structure is unsafe and must be repaired or demolished within 45 days of this notice.
The floor joists and sheathing have rotted out in several areas. The roof is
leaking and there are signs of leakage around the windows and doors.

matter.
Under Section 105 of the Standard Housing Code the owner of the condemned
property may appeal the decision of the Building Official to the Board of Adjustments
and Appeals as set forth in Chapter 107.
