AGENDA ITEM: List of property to be declared surplus

BACKGROUND: Over time, the City accumulates various properties that lose
their usefulness due to deterioration or obsolescence. Only
items deemed truly of no use to the City are on this list.
The attached list includes four worn-out City vehicles.
Jacksonville Beach has agreed to include these four
vehicles in their upcoming auction, tentatively scheduled
for Thursday, February 23, 2006.
BUDGET: There is no budget for this action. Proceeds from the sale
of the vehicles sold at auction will be distributed to the
fund from which the property came.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the list of property as surplus to the City of
Atlantic Beach
