UNION NEGOTIATION MEETING
OCTOBER 19, 2011
The negotiation meeting was called to order at 4:55 P.M. Those in attendance were:
City: George Foster, Chief Negotiator (Human Resource Manager)
Union: Andy Bemis, Business Manager, Local 630
Desmond A. Green, Negotiator
Barrion C. Hill, Negotiator
Eric Williams, Negotiator
1. Specific proposals discussed are summarized within attachment 1.
2. The City advised the Union that the City would withdraw all City proposals if Union would
agree to Bonus as proposed (Article 26.1).
3. The Union proposed a $500 per year bonus for Utility Collection Distribution Operators.
4. The date for the next negotiation session was left open and the meeting was adjourned with
City to follow up with Union by e -mail as to acceptability of the Union's proposal.
5. Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
City followed up by e -mail on October 24, 2011 and Union ratified contract as proposed by City
on November 9, 2011.
