To Whom It May Concern:
1. Balcony joists shall be cantilevered a maximum of 24 ".
2. Balcony joists shall be 2x12 SYP #2 PT @ 24" o /c.
3. Girder joists attached w/ (2) 2x12 SYP #2 filler & nailed w/ (2) rows 16d nails @ 12" o /c.
4. Cantilever joists attached to girder w/ LU212 hangers.
5. Cantilever ends supported on 2x6 @ 16" o/c kneewall approx 6" high. Joists may be
notched 4" max for stepdown.
6. 2x12 blocking between cantilever joists.
The engineering changes to the subject project are structurally satisfactory. If you require any
