The contract was advertised and four bidders attended the mandatory pre-bid meeting. One contractor submitted a bid, mcludm all re ui red documents: Descri tion Gruhn Ma ,Inc. Hourl Rates for: Re lar Time 3 Man Crew $120 6 Man Crew $240 E ui ment, Tracked Excavator $75 E ui ment, Front End Loader/Backhoe $45 Dewaterin E ui ment $140 Liftin H draulic Crane $65 Overhead and Profit % 20% Premium Hours Factor 1.5 HoGda Hours Factor 2.0 Emer en Callout Mobilization 4 hour minimum Gruhn May, Inc. is the responsible bidder meeting all requirements. This contractor has been ~"'' doing utility repairs for the City fo.° many years, and the City has been very pleased with their performance. The bid prices represent no increase over current prices, which have been in effect the last three years, and include a 6% reduction in the cost of dewatering equipment. BUDGET: Funds are budgeted in the amount of $140,000 in the following accounts from the Water, Sewer and Stormwater Funds: 400-5502-533-3400, 400-5504-533-3400, 410-5506-535- 3400, 410-5508-535-3400 and 470-0000-538-3400.
