SUBJECT: Follow-up Report
Moody Marine Property; A citizen approached the City Commission at the last meeting on
~. October 9 stating that the rezoning process for the Moody Marine property on the west side of
the intercoastal waterway had been restarted. The Commission asked staff to find the current
status of that zoning application. The land is still owned by the Moody Land Company and they
~. aze represented by Attorney Paul Hardin. He has indicated that he will be submitting a proposed
comp plan amendment and rezoning application to the City of Jacksonville. Neither is complete
at this time. They plan to use approximately 90% of the development for residential purposes
a» and intend for it to be zoned as a planned unit development (PUD j. Mr. Hardin promised to send
a copy of the design and development application as well as the preliminary site plan when they
are ready. Copies will be provided to the City Commission when received.
