Dear Inspector:
I have performed site inspection and instructed the followings:
1. Collar ties at front porch can be omitted by providing front tie member with 5 -16d
nails to connect roof beams.
2. Existing header and jack studs at old entrance door area can be removed. But existing
floor joists 2x10 @ 16" on center do require hanger of Simpson LUS210 to the
existing 2 -2x10 beam and the saw cut at the bottom of floor joist end need to provide
MSTAl2 for reinforcing joist. This procedures shall be done before removing existing
door header and studs.
