Dear Ift, Pristoa:
Persusat to our conversation today, I requesting that the sanitary
provisions of the Southern Buildiagg Co be modified to allow duplica-
tion of the Cedar Hills Theater facilit ea. for the above captioned
project# I
The Gedar Hills Theater was designed fo 1000 occupsatso The Atlantic
Beach Theater is designed for 850 occupp ts, therefore I believe that
we are conservative in attempting this uplicatiou, Listed below are
I
the code requirements for aa 850 seat t eater:
(1) Men's Room - 6 - water closets
6 - urinals
4 - lavatories I
(2) Ladies Room - 8 - water clo ets
4 - lavatorie
The asbilt sanitary facilities for the I Cedar Hills Theater satisfacto-
rily fulfill all requirements. These fa ilities are as follows:
(1) Men's Room 3 - water closets A/TO
2 - lavatories -1/
2 - urinals 3 6-o
(2) Ladies Room 5 - water closetsj _5_'t,
2 - lavatories 4/0ts
Mr. H. B, Miselman, the ovaer of both of the aforementioned theaters,
has many addtioaal theaters with facilfties equal to those of the Cedar
Hills Theater. Please let me know if we may avoid the unnecessary ex-
pense of as excess of sanitary facilities.
Very truly yours,

Dear Sir:
This is a letter of clarification as to my E'osition as Architect
of the H. B. Meiselman Palm Theater no' under construction
in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
My architectural services were commissioned by R. W. Makemson,
P. EO ) representing H. B. Meiselman, to prepare preliminary
working drawings for the above project. The completed preliminary
working drawings were presented to the Mlantic Beach City
Commission Monday, July 13, 1964.
The completion of the preliminary workin drawings terminated my
contract with H. B. Meiselman.
New agreements to complete the working Irawings, supervise
construction and check conformity to governing codes were
never reached.
Therefore, I do not assume the responsibilities of the architect
in any capacity for the H. B. Meiselman I alm Theater.
Sincerely,
Frank D. Shumer

Dear Mr. Printon:
In compliance with your request for an Archite:t's counterSigniture on the plans
for the above captioned project, I have retained Mr, Frank Shumer AIA. In order
to comply with the applicable laws concerning irchitectural design it has been
necessary to redesign the structure which we o-iginally proposed. Thus the
Engineering drawings which you see are supplemntal and subservient to the
Architectural drawings of Frank Shumer. I certify that the plans for this
theater to the best of my knowledge conform tolthe provisions of the Southern
