Dear Mr. Smith,
Our records indicate that you are owner of 417 Sailfish Drive in the City of Atlantic Beach.
Investigation of this property discloses that there is a washing machine draining into the
backyard. A notice of corrections was left on your door on 5/20/04, giving you 72 hours to have
the repairs done. A licensed plumber must be hired and a permit pulled. All appliances and
fixtures shall drain into sewer. Per Section P701 of Florida Plumbing Code.
Please contact the building department to obtain a permit application within ten (10) days of
receipt of this letter or your water service will be turned off.
Failure to obtain a permit as required per Florida Building Code, Chapter 1, Section 104, will
result in the case being turned over to the Code Enforcement Board. Under Florida Statute 264
the City of Atlantic Beach may impose a fine of up to $250.00 a day.
