INTRODUCTION
This report summarizes the results of the structural analysis performed on the 123' water tower
structure at the JA73XCO54 site located at 2301 Maypert Road, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233, Duval
County.
ANALYSIS CRITERIA
The water tower structure was evaluated for the current and proposed loads in accordance
with ANSI/TIA-222-G, "'Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting
Structures." This analysis derives its applied forces fro rn a minimum wind speed of 120 mph
with no ice accumulation.

allowances for corrosion or defects.

RESULTS
The total wind shear and overturning moment on the s-.ructure under a 120 mph wind speed in
its current configuration are 172.0 kips and 12,793 ft-k ps,respectively. The additional wind
shear produced by the proposed Sprint antennas and Z ssociated coax is 1.2 kips and the
increase in overturning moment is 120 ft-kips. The ne�v loads represent a 0.7%increase in the
shear and 1.0%increase in the overturning moment. E oth values represent a negligible
increase in individual member loads and will not have ;i significant impact on the structural
integrity of the water tower structure.
The structural assessment completed on behalf of Eric son was inclusive of the antenna
supporting frames/mounts and all associated connecti:)ns that will support the Sprint Network
Vision equipment deployment. It excludes the tower i-.self and assumes the tower has been
analyzed and found structurally adequate to support t ie existing and proposed tower loading.
it is our opinion the stress caused by proposed additions will not affect the structural integrity
of the supporting frame/mounting structure.
