White 365 Sailfish Drive Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233-4130 RE: Notice of Violation—City of Atlantic Beach Code of Ordinances, Chapter 24, Land Development Regulations 365 Sailfish Drive,Lot 11, Block 27,Royal Palms Unit 2A, Atlantic Beach, Florida RE#171384-0000 CASE NO. 65912 Dear Ms. White: Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found the property referenced above to be in violation of City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 24, Land Development Regulations, Section 24-163 Storage and parking of commercial vehicles and recreational vehicles and equipment and repair of vehicles in residential zoning districts to wit: VIOLATIONS CITY OFATLANTIC BEACH CODE OF ORDINANCES Section 24-163—Storage and parking of commercial vehicles and recreational vehicles and equipment and repair of vehicles in residential zoning districts. (a) The storage and parking of commercial vehicles greater than twelve thousand five hundred (12500) pounds gross weight and dual rear wheel vehicles shall be prohibited in residential zoning districts. (1) No more than one (1) commercial vehicle of less than twelve thousand five hundred (12500) pound shall be permitted on any residential lot, and such commercial vehicle shall be parked a minimum of twenty (20) feet from the front lot line. (semi trailer improperly stored in extends into the public right of way) Page 2 365 Sailfish Drive August 22,2012 (b) Recreational vehicles stored or parked on any residential lot shall be subject to the following provisions: (1) Recreational vehicles, boats or boat trailers or other type of trailer shall not be parked or stored closer than fifteen (15) feet from the front lot line and shall be parked in a manner that is generally perpendicular to the front property line such that length is not aligned in a manner that extends across the front of the lot, it being the intent that recreational vehicles, boats and trailers that are parked forward of the residence should not excessively dominate the front of the lot. (camper stored in front yard extending into the public right of way) This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removal of the improperly stored semi-trailer and camper both currently stored in your front yard and extending into the public right of way within twenty (24) hours of receipt of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00)per day for continuing violations. It is our goal to enforce the codes and ordinances of the City of Atlantic Beach and protect the health, safety and welfare of the City, and accordingly, your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
