Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6, International
Property Maintenance Code adopted to wit:
VIOLATION
INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE
Section 302.4 Weeds. All premise and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or
plant growth in excess of twelve (12") inches in height. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited.
Weeds shall be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs
provided, however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens. (Property/yard
overgrown)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by mowing the overgrown rear
yard, maintain mowed and call for an inspection to verify compliance within ten (10) days
of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice. The Board
may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per day for continuing violations. Upon
completing the corrective action(s) required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach
Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Original Notes: Next door property has looked abandon for a year now. When complaint
made someone finally mowed grass. That was 2 months ago. The house
looks rum down, weeds knee high and a real eye sore. Property values of all
neighbors are effected. Dead trees in back of yard could fall on my fence
line.
