Mike, Looks like this is a violation of the home occupation regulations
and parking and storage of boat, trailers loaded with equipment etc. in
the front yard and public right of way. I took several complaints on
this when Kathy was here. Do you want me to get my own pictures and send
them a zoning violation letter for violation the home occupation
regulations and boat and equipment trailers stored in front yard and

Thank you for the return call last week concerning the parking situation at 603 and 633 Stocks Street.
I own the property at 603 Stocks Street which is on the corner lot. The tenants which live in 633
Stocks Street own a lawn service which when they started it was limited to one truck and an
equipment trailer and a second car at their residence. Move forward a few years after the start of the
lawn service and the tenants at 633 Stocks Street have been successful with their lawn service
business, they have added more vehicles (three vehicles total), a second equipment trailer, and a
boat. All of these items are being stored in their front yard, into my side yard, and along the side of
the street.

During the current economic times we are facing it is refreshing to see a small business grow and
prosper but their growth is affecting my ability to lease my property. This area of Atlantic Beach is a
nice quiet area with young adults and families that have moved there for the residential environment
that this neighborhood offers but the presents of the trucks, trailers, boats and lawn equipment, the
neighborhood environment is rapidly changing to an industrial zone. I understand that off street
parking is permitted for occasional use, but the use of off street parking in this situation is a daily
occurrence and the added presents of the additional trailer and boat in the driveway adds to the
congestion.
I am asking for help in resolving this problem, I would like to have the trucks and trailers parked on
the street moved from in front of my house and their equipment moved from my yard. The tenants at
633 Stocks Street which own the lawn service feel they have the right to park all of their equipment in
this fashion are not willing to relocate it.
Please advise me how this can be resolved?
