CITY OF ATLANTIC CODE OF ORDINANCES
Section 17-26 (b) (7) Temporary political campaign signs announcing the candidacy of a
qualified candidate for public office not exceeding four(4) square feet in area may be placed
wholly within the boundaries of any property, at the discretion or consent of the legal owner
and/or occupant of the property, provided such signs conform with all traffic, electrical,
maintenance, fire and safety regulations of the city.
This letter requests that the political sign on your property that exceeds the maximum four
(4) square feet be removed upon receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, the listed violation on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations.

Clerk's Office within ten (10) days of the following receipt of this notice and that full
compliance be achieved by obtaining the business tax receipt by payment of the
appropriate fees within twenty (20) days following the date of the application submittal. I
have enclosed the appropriate application for your convenience.
