This letter is written to advise that you are currently in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach,
Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6, International Property Maintenance Code adopted to wit:
VIOLATION
INTERNATIONAL PR OPER TY MAINTENANCE CODE
Section 304.6 Exterior Walls. All exterior walls shall be free from holes, breaks, and loose or
rotting materials; and maintained weatherproof and properly surface coated where required to
prevent deterioration. (loose hanging soffit on the northside of the hotel is creating a
hazardous condition subject to fall creating a hazard to life and property. Photo attached)
You are required to remove, or repair and reattach the loose soffit on the north side of the hoiel
within forty eight(48) hours of receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, the listed violation on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations.

I visited the Ocean One property Wednesday afternoon just to confirm with the property management that we cannot final
their project or approve their use of the area until the fire sprinkler work is completed. Unfortunately, the awnings are
installed over their dumpsters and there is really not much of a way for them to move these away from this area until the
sprinklers are installed. If you hear anything in regards to the sprinkler work being completed, let me know and we will get
the pressure and final inspections completed on this as well.
