A courtesy notice was left at this business location on October 15, 2012 and the banner has not been removed as requested. VIOLATION Section 17-33. Banner Signs (a) The purpose of banner signs shall be to promote special seasonal, civic or community events that occur on a temporary basis. A sign permit shall not be required for banner signs; however, all banner signs shall be registered with the City of Atlantic Beach. No banner sign shall be hung, placed or erected prior to a form as provided by the Planning and Building department and payment of fees as may be established by the City Commission. (b) Banner signs may be displayed subject to registration verifying compliance with the following provisions: (3) Banner signs shall not contain an advertising message This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removal of the banner attached to the 2"d floor railing upon receipt of this notice.
