Lindley,
Michael Griffin came and asked me whether 1345 Ocean Blvd could be split—said you were asking for a second address
to be assigned. I told him that the property consists of two legal platted lots (Mandalay Block 53, Lots 7,8), but it cannot
be "split" until the existing house is demo'd—so that no existing structure is made non-conforming. We'll then need a
copy of the survey showing the vacant lots with the location of the original platted lot line (between 7,8). That will be
stamped as approved by the PZ dept as consistent with lot dimension requirements, an address will be assigned to the
second lot by the Building dept, and the survey can then be taken downtown to have a the second parcel (real estate)
identification number assigned.
