Subject: Reinspection/Hurricane Shutters Larry, I have tried to call you several times but couldn't catch you, and I left a message but never got a response. You came out to my house on Feb 2nd to look at the installation of shutters by Roll-A-Way. Since it appears the fastenings may not be in accordance with the specs, you advised me to tell the contractor to set an appointment with your office so that you and their rep could inspect together. I did notify their office of this. About a week later they sent several guys over to verify what fasteners were used. They were 3" lag screws. I have heard nothing more. T]Ie construction and design of all facilities to be transferred to and to be owned and operated by the City shall at all times be subject to prior approval by the City and. its engineers.
