by-products are being placed in garbage receptacles for pickup;
If not properly contained in sealed bags this will produce noxious
odors that are offensive to the neighborhood.
Garbage receptacles should be frequently washed and sprayed
to aid in retarding odors. As a good citizen would you please
assist in eliminating this problem. If garbage collection is not
timely please inform me so that I can correct that problem.

Dear Mr.Grunewald:
I am writing in response to the certified letter I received Saturday(copy attached)
regarding the garbage situation at my house at 346 4th Street,Atlantic Beach.
First of all,if you check your records a little more thoroughly you will find that
this house is not a single-residence home—it's a duplex.The people who are
C(placing fish by-products in garbage receptacles"at this address must be the
couple who live downstairs at 344 4th Street.The husband fishes for a living
and I know he brings fish materials home from time to time because I smell them
myself and yes,it is offensive.
I just wanted to inform you that I do not buy or eat fish or shellfish and
therefore,if you wish to alleviate this situation you need to contact the couple in
the apartment downstairs.
I just don't appreciate receiving a"scolding"from the city and having you
insinuate that perhaps I am not a "good citizen�' when this situation does not
apply to me at all.
