Dear Tina and Jill:
Several weeks ago we received a complaint from the City of Atlantic
Beach stating "Trash & Garbage is scattered on the south side of the
building, Trash & Garbage cans are not returned after pick up, Garbage
is not secured in containers between pick ups."
This was certainly true. I have since provided each resident with
copies of the Atlantic Beach code regarding trash removal; copies of the
Rules and Regulations dated May 19th (which is part of your lease) ;
reminders about the dates for garbage and recycling pickup; and booklets
explaining the recycling rules.
Each tenant was asked to do their part in correcting this and I have
been monitoring the situation. I therefore left another notice for you
last Tuesday when your garbage was left out that morning. However, I
fail to understand why four bags of your garbage was left out again
today, a recycle pickup day only.
Your refusal to cooperate is not only annoying the neighbors, but could
result in a fine from the City of Atlantic Beach.

Enclosed is a copy of the Rules and Regulations issued May 19, 1997 and
anothe.r copy of the Atlantic Beach code Sec. 16-3. which was sent to you
at the same time.
It is imperative that something is done to correct the problem we are
having about the garbage and the unsightly appearance of the building.
• Garbage must be placed in cans or sealed plastic bags.
• The garbage collectors will NOT pick up the trash unless the cans are
taken to the curb (the morning of collection) .
• The garbage collectors will NOT empty recycling bins that have been
used in lieu of garbage cans.
• The cans must be brought in at night after collection(to the back of
your apt., not left by the building. )
I expect your immediate and full cooperation.

Garbage cans and recycling bins are to be kept at the back entrance of each apartment,
except on pickup days, which are Monday and Thursday for trash, Tuesday for recycling.
Garbage cans and recycling bins must be taken to the CURB on pickup days, then brought
in and returned to the back of each apartment. Under no circumstances are the containers
or other trash to be left in front of the building.
