The Property previously found in violation of Chapter 24-173 (b) 1 & 5, Neighborhood Preservation and International Maintenance Code, Chapter 3, Section 302.8. 3. The Respondent purchased the property at a foreclosure sale. However, the foreclosure suit failed to list the City of Atlantic Beach as a party. Consequently, the previously assessed fine by City of Atlantic Beach's lien of$336,600.00, plus interest, remained as a lien against the Property. With interest, the amount owed to date is $538,540.25. 4. A prior proposed purchaser of the Property came before the Code Enforcement Board and was granted a reduction of the lien to $10,000.00. That purchase never transpired. 5. The Respondent after his subsequent purchase has cleaned up the Property and is now in full compliance. 6. The City of Atlantic Beach recommended the reduction of the lien to $10,000.00 as assessed on the Property for the previous purchaser. CONCLUSIONS OF LAW A Judgment Lien was previously entered in this cause on the Property. The Judgment Lien remained on the Property accruing fines per day and interest to a present-day amount of$538,540.25. The City of Atlantic Beach requests the lien be reduced to $10,000.00. The Respondent has brought the Property into compliance.
