Thanks for the prompt response. So does the city only enforce ordinances when it's brought
to someone in your department's attention?
I'm not submitting the below mentioned addresses as complaints . I believe that maintaining
and upholding the city ordinances is the citys job to manage. It's unfortunate that basically
you can drive by a couple houses, in the same neighborhood that are violating the city
ordinance, only to give someone on the same street a warning/citation! Doesn't seem quite
right, does it?

Mr. Ard, The courtesy notice left at the residence on Barefoot Trace was
based on a complaint the city received. However, if you are submitting
this as a complaint I will investigate the list you submitted and if the
properties are in violation I will leave them the same notice as I did
with the resident on Barefoot Trace. Any questions, please let me know.

Someone in code enforcement sent a warning to one of my neighbors on Barefoot Trace

yesterday, May 2 , with regard to yard trash in the street and not within the trash pickup
timelines/juidelines. My understanding is that it was to be moved before any additional
action would be taken by the city. I was a bit surprised to hear about this in that I have lived in
AB and on Barefoot Trace for almost 16 years, and I do not recall anyone getting a warning for
this. Within an hour of the warning being delivered, I rode around AB randomly for 30

minutes observing other yards that had placed black bags of yard trash in the street and right-
of-ways. I am curious as to if these some folks received a warning from your department?
The addresses include the following;
2311 Ocean Walk Drive West about 30 black bags of yard trash!)

Debbie;
As for enforcement for Mr. Ard, or anyone else in a similar situation, it doesn't matter if others are violating the same
rule. If he is guilty, he deserves to be notified and cited if he refuses to comply.
The complaint I received was about his property specifically. If you get complaints about others in the same situation,
then check them out and issue notices if warranted.
