Property Record Card shows it only as a SFR built in 1953. As far as I know, the 300 block of 8th Street has never been zoned for duplexes. Mrs. Longuil apparently acknowledges that the structure was original built as a garage, and at some point converted by her family into a dwelling unit, but she seems to think she should be able to keep it just because its been there a long time and the City has done nothing about it.
