Redevelopment of Selva Marina Country Club
Dear Ms. Hall:
After discussions with a number of owners of property located adjacent to the
Selva Marina Golf Course, as well as the two home owner associations in Selva
Linkside, we respectively request that the following condition be added to the
redevelopment plan:
Existing Property Owners View Of Existing and New Golf Course
The club shall not block or hinder the view that existing home owners
currently have of the existing, and the new redeveloped property, from the
perimeter of the property. This would include any method of blocking or
hindering the view, such as barriers, buffers, walls, nets, etc. This would
also include the use of natural vegetative buffers such as shrubs and trees,
etc.
The club may not have any intention of installing any type of barriers or buffers at
this time, but it sure would be beneficial to all the many home owners in the future
if this condition is in writing.
These property owners have paid higher than normal prices for their property or
homes, simply for the view of the golf course. By blocking or hindering that view
would not only cause personal distress, but also would devalue their property from
a financial standpoint.
