Initial Proposals

• article 10 Section 5—Change the time to give notice of intent to move a
grievance to arbitration to 30 calendar days.
• Article 16—Add language that would allow an employee to utilize a week of
leave to extend bereavement leave.
• Article 17 Section 3—Amend to only allow the use of compensatory time if
mutually agreed to by both the City and the employee.
• Article 25 Section 4—Include the Utility Collection/Distribution Operators in
paragraph 2
• Article 26 Section 1—3% c.o.l.a.
• Exhibit A— Move Utility Collection/Distribution Operators from pay grade 16 to
pay grade 17
