Dear Mr. Ash:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, Chapter 17, Signs, Section
17-42. —Prohibited signs and devices to wit:

CITY OF ATLANTIC CODE OF ORDINANCES
Section 17-42.—Prohibited signs and devices.
The following signs and devices shall be prohibited within the City of Atlantic Beach. In
the case of any conflict with other provisions of this Code, the prohibitions set forth below shall
supersede such other conflicting provisions.
(10) Temporary signs, except as otherwise authorized herein. (temporary signs "we sell
boxes")
(11) Pennants, ribbons, balloons, streamers, wind-operated devices and similar elements
that are intended to draw attention to a business or activity, either when used alone or
incorporated into a sign. (Banners displayed - Suite 26, Mr. and Mrs. Wheels)
This letter requests that the noted violation be corrected within five (5) days from receipt of
this notice by removing all temporary signage and banners from the premises.

To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations.
