AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 765 SABALO DRIVE, ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA 32233, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Sec. 17 of the Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires the city
commission to pass an ordinance to authorize the sale of city owned real property, and
WHEREAS, the city is the owner of certain real property located 765 Sabalo Drive, Atlantic
Beach, Florida 32233, as a result of a code enforcement board lien foreclosure case, and
WHEREAS, said real property is not needed for any municipal purpose of other public
purpose by the city and should be sold in order for the city to recover its costs incurred in the
acquisition of said property through the code enforcement board lien foreclosure case.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE PEOPLE
OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The city is the owner of certain real property located at 765 Saba lo Drive,
Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233, more specifically described as follows:
Lot 8, Block 9, ROYAL PALMS, UNIT TWO A, a subdivision according to plat thereof as recorded in
Plat Book 30,pages 94 and 94A,of the current public records of Duval County, Florida.
SECTION 2: The city shall dispose of said real property in the most beneficial way to the
city. The city manager and/or the mayor are authorized to sign all documents necessary to effectuate
any sale, transfer, or disposal of said real property.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and
adoption.

PASSED by the City Commission on second and final reading this 22n1 day of July 2013.
