Jim,
On 05127108 Dr Robert Grube, the Beach Avenue assessment Alan sent a letter to for non-payment, paid the assessment
in full. I am not sure if the lien has been filed yet as there was not a specific date in the letter as to when this action would
be taken. t am notifying you that the account has been paid in full, but I hesitate to completely release any liens or further
action as the check may be NSF. According to Joyce, this may take anywhere from 7-10 days. At the end of this week I
will notify you&the others if we need to take further action or if the account is satisfied.
Thanks,
Debbie Ramsay

RE: City of Atlantic Beach
Beach Avenue Special Assessment
Dear Dr. Grube:
I am the City Attorney for Atlantic Beach and am writing to you regarding property owned by you
located at 1927 Beach Avenue, Atlantic Beach, Florida 3223-3). As you either know or should
know, your property was assessed for a sewer line. I have been advised by the City that you have
failed to pay the assessment, and based upon information provided to me by the City, the amount
owed as of May 1, 2008, is $1,673.17. A copy of a Statement of Account from the City reflecting
the balance due is enclosed, and interest continues to accrue on the past due balance.
I would appreciate you contacting me upon receipt of this letter to make satisfactory arrangements
to pay the above assessment in order to avoid the necessity of the City placing a lien on your
property. If you fail to contact me and make satisfactory arrangements for payment of the amount
due, I will advise the City accordingly and it will be able to seek any and all legal recourse available
to it. The City does not desire to engage in any legal action against you and prefers that this matter
be resolved short of any such litigation.
I would appreciate very much your prompt attention to the above matter. Thank you.
Very truly yours,
/AN C. ENSEN
