–
The City Commission has appointed a new member for General Plan with Tim Townsend representing the Board in the selection process. On January 24, 2013, the Board Member Review Committee
recommended Michael Diaz. The City Commission approved the recommendation on February 11, 2013. Michael Diaz will serve the remaining portion of Bob Sternfeld’s unexpired term ending
on 12/31/15.

Sec. 2-307. - Same—Vacancy; filling of vacancy./
(a)
A vacancy shall occur on the board of trustees if any member resigns or any employee representative ceases to be employed by the
city.
(b)
If a vacancy occurs on the board of trustees, the vacancy shall be filled within ninety (90) days for the unexpired term, in the same manner as the position was previously
filled.

GENERAL
Sec. 2-268. - Same—Vacancy; filling of vacancy./
(a)
A vacancy shall occur on the board of trustees if any member shall resign
or any employee representative ceases to be employed by the city. A vacancy shall occur on the board if any trustee fails to attend three (3) consecutive meetings of the board unless,
in each case, excused for cause by the trustees attending the meeting.
(b)
If a vacancy occurs on the board of trustees, the vacancy shall be filled within ninety (90) days for the
unexpired term, if applicable, in the same manner as the position was previously filled.
