almost empty and the water in the bottom is filthy. In Florida it is not
a good idea to empty the water out of an in-ground pool because of the

about mosquitoes coming from the stagnant water in the in ground
pool. I went by the property yesterday and the hydro valve has
not been replaced, however, the pool is partially filled with
dirty stagnant water. Can you have the property preservation
company add some chlorine or other chemicals to clear the water
and kill the mosquitoes and larvae? Any help you can give me is

Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances,to wit:
VIOLATION
Violation Description
IPMC Sec. 303.1 Swimming pools.
Swimming pools shall be maintained in a clean and
sanitary condition and in good repair. (Dirty inground pool, Pool is
only partially filled with water and could be in danger of popping out of the
ground)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by cleaning the unsanitary pool
within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
It is our goal to keep our neighborhoods looking well maintained while protecting property
values and your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Please contact Atlantic Beach
