Response: Acknowledged. Regardinq the site plan for Atlantic Country Club: 1. NFPA 1 - 18.2.3.4.1.1 Fire department access roads shall have an unobstructed width of not less than 20 ft. Sheet 10 west side of project north of gated entrance the access road extending north to the second single story building does not meet the above criteria. Response: The access road has been increased to 20' up to the southwest corner of the existing building. This will put the access to within 50' of the existing building. Please see the revised Sheet 10. 2. NFPA 1 - 18.3.1* An approved water supply capable of supplying the required fire flow for fire protection shall be provided to all premises upon which facilities, buildings, or portions of buildings are hereafter constructed or moved into the jurisdiction. Provide a fire hydrant within 500' of the remote point of the above noted building. Also on the east side of the development to the west and south of the bridge, sheet 56 indicates a cul-de-sac with no fire hydrant provided. The current parcel numbers for the subject property are 169399-0000, 172024-0000, 172027-0030, 172027-0010, 172029-0000, 169399-0000 and 172000-0000. Atlantic Beach Country Club is proposed to be constructed in two phases consisting of up to 200 single-family home lots, a new 18-hole golf course with maintenance facility and club house. The proposed potable water transmission system will connect to the City of Atlantic Beach water system in three ' (3) different places, to loop the systems with hopes to improve the water system through the city. The three connections are as follows: (1) connection to the existing 24" water main by the existing Atlantic Beach treatment plant at the north end of the site, (2) connection to the existing 8" water main at the intersection of ' Dutton Island Drive and Francis Avenue, and (3) connection to the existing 6" water main with Selva Marina Drive. As part of this permit we will be extending the water main through the development to provide the required fire flow throughout. Fire hydrants will be placed along the main a maximum of 500'apart. ' The hydraulic analyses for Atlantic Beach Country Club includes Maximum Day Demand plus Fire Flow and Peak Hour Demand analyses. The initial static connection pressure for all analyses was set at 48 psi per the fire flow test that was conducted by the City of Atlantic Beach.
