UPDATE: Jeremy came to see me regarding the original application for Coastal Cab. (I had the copy and other
documents held in my file for BTR applications "Pending UBE". I was unaware that the original application had been
returned to me to hold as well, pending the UBE approval. Jeremy now has the original application for Zoning/Building
to approve, sign, and return to me with the $100.00 invoice, and the Commission Approval Letter for the UBE at this
location. This should get things moving now.
Also,just FYI—I am also holding an application for"Island Heating &Air Conditioning, Inc.", @ 1089 Atlantic Blvd, Suite
#12. 1 gave the original back to Jeremy and still have the copies and documentation in my "Pending UBE" folder. This
business was NOT entered in the system due to the fact that it would be handled as a transfer application, and not as
normal new business. Jeremy will let me know if the applicant decided to withdraw the application or go forward with
the UBE process.
Thanks to all of you. We're still trying to organize and streamline our whole process to expedite the business application
process from start to finish.

I have an active case on Coastal Cab for not having a BTR, they applied
and were approved for a UBE but their BTR has not been paid or issued.
They were cited in Jan. and I would like to get them into compliance so I
can close this open case. Dayna has not received their approved
application. So, if any of you have this paperwork, please put it on top
so this can be processed and paid.

Chapter 20 Busine Tax Receipts
Section 20-52. LeN y. A business license tax shall be
levied on:
(1) Any person who maintains a permanent business location
or branch office within the City, for the privilege of
engaging in or managing any business within it's
jurisdiction.
(2)Any person w', iaintains a permanent business location
or branch office v a the City, for the privilege of
engaging in or mai... ing any profession or occupation within
it's jurisdiction.
This letter requests that the .toted violations be corrected by obtaining an Atlantic Beach
Business Tax Receipt with E ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
