Dear Property Owner: Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit: VIOLATION Violation Description Sec. 108.1.3. Structure unfit for human occupancy. A structure is unfit for human occupancy whenever the code official finds that such structure is unsafe, unlawful or because of the degree to which the structure is in disrepair or lacks maintenance, is unsanitary, vermin or rat infested, contains filth and contamination, or lacks ventilation, illuminat-lon, sanitary or heating facilities or other essential eq.xipment required by this code, or because the location of the structure constitutes a hazard to the occupants of the structure or to the public. Violation Description (b) DWELLING UNIT. A single unit providing complete, independent living 7:-icilities for one or more persons, including permaner,t provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation. Violation Description IPMC 302.1 Sanitation. All exterior property and premises shall be maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition. The occupant shall keep that part of the exterior property which such occupant occupies or controls in a clean and sanitary condition. Violation Description IPMC Sec.302.8 - Motor Vehicles "No inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicle shall be parked or kept or stored on any premises, and no vehicle shall at any time be in a state of disrepair, major disassembly or in the process or being stripped or dismantled". Violation Description Sec. 24-111 Commercial General Districts (CG) (c) Uses by exceptioi (6) Contractors, not requiring outside storage, provided that no manufacture, construction,heavy equipment that makes excessive noise or fumes shall be permitted. Not more than one (1) contractor related vehicle shall be parked outdoors on a continuous basis. This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removing all inoperable, unlicensed,junk,wrecked and partially dismantled cars, remove all junk and debris stored outside within thirty (30) days of the posting of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for continuing violations.
