Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit:

Violation Description
Chapter 20 Business Tax Receipts
Section 20-52. Levy. A business license tax shall be
levied on:
(1) Any person who maintains a permanent business location
or branch office within the City, for the privilege of
engaging in or man,.,ging any business within it's m�2?
jurisdiction.
(2) Any person who maintains a permanent business location
or branch office within the City, for the privilege of
engaging in or managing any profession or occupation within
it's jurisdiction.
Violation Description
IPMC Sec.302.8 - Motor Vehicles
"No inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicle shall be parked
or kept or stored on any premises, and no vehicle shall at
any time be in a sta`�, of disrepair, major disassembly or
in the process or being stripped or dismantled".
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by obtaining a business tax
receipt to rent the U haul's or remove the vehicles and cease rentals, removal all
unlicensed, inoperable,wrecked,junked, partially dismantled vehicles from the premises
within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

Nelson,
I visited this property and met with the owner this morning and
shared the photographs , issued him a "courtesy notice" on all
the issues that need to be addressed. He is in the process of
putting a restaurant at the north end unit and is just now got
the equipment and some chairs in there . ' Nothing has been
installed or anything done that would require permits . I gave
his 10 days to comply with courtesy notice and will send him an
official notice of violation letter when the 10 days expire and
will monitor to make sure he obtains compliance . Any question,

Subject: Citizen complaint
I met with a citizen this morning complained about the new U-
Haul dealership that started at the motorcycle shop at the
corner of Mayport and 13th St. They are parking U-Haul vehicles
in the right away on the street in the ditch. Also behind the
building they have a storage container that is not permitted. In
addition there are numerous inoperable vehicles on the property .
They complained that it look like a junkyard. Nelson, please
forward to code enforcement for appropriate action .
