notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per day for
continuing violations and necessary actions to make the property in compliance with all codes

CMDR Cameron, Dan Arlington, Building Official and I visited this fire
damaged structure this morning and placed placards on all four sides . (see
attached photo) The house cannot be occupied, however, this morning there
was a woman sleeping in the back bedroom, she was covered in soot and was
told she "cannot" occupy this structure. BJ came to the property and she
was made to leave and instructed not to come back.
Might be a good idea to have patrol check the �roperty to make sure nobody
is in there. Any questions, let me know. A notice will be sent to the
owner to board and secure all the opening and clean up the yard/premises .

Thanks for your help. I figured it was a pending eviction, well, it' s not
occupied now. Why does it take s00000 long to get these folks out? Most
of the banks here having been doing cash for keys which seems to work.
I plan on boarding this house tomorrow and will send you the bill, which
so far $1000 . 00 plus the City charges 100% administrative fee so total
cost will be $2000 . 00 and a lien will be placed on the property. This has
become an emergency board and secure and nuisance with the previous
occupants and others going in and out. I will forward you the email from

unsanitary, etc. . Attached are some photos, notices of violation.
Property owner is listed as Federal National Mortgage Association.
Please let me know if this is one of your bank owned properties, it is no

We hereby propose to furnish the materials and labor necessary for the completion of:
Board Up Openings in Burned House
1) Frame in garage door with 2x4s, 24 inch on center and install 1/2 inch CDX plywood.
Plywood will be fastened to 2x4 framing with 2 inch number 8 deck screws 12 inch
on center.
2) Install 1/2 inch CDX plywood on all windows, sliding glass doors and front door and side-
lights. Plywood will be screwed to door and window trim with 2 inch number 8 deck screws
12 inch on center.
All material is guaranteed to be as specified and the above work to be performed in accordance
with the drawings and specifications submitted for the above work, and be completed in a
substantial workmanlike manner for the sum of $ 1,000.00 with payment to be made as follows:
$ 1,000.00 upon completion.
Should E&R Enterprises of North Florida, Ilc be required to obtain the services of an attorney to
collect any sums which may be due under this contract and which are not paid, then E&R Enterprises
of North Florida, Ilc shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney's fees on behalf of their counsel in
bringing or enforcing any of their rights under this agreement. Said fees to include court costs, interest,
and attorney's fees for appellate work. E&R Enterprises of North Florida shall be entitled to a finance
charge of 1.5 percent per month on the unpaid balance on any amounts not paid within 30 days
after the due date herein.
Any alterations or deviations from the above specifications involving extra cost will be executed
only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over above the contract amount. All

agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond our control. Owner to carry
fire, tornado, and other necessary insurance on above work. Workman's Compensation and
Public Liability insurance to be held by E & R ENTERPRISES OF NORTH FLORIDA LLC.
Payment may be available from the Construction Industry Recovery Fund if you lose money on a
project performed under contract where the loss results from specified violations of Florida Law by
a state licensed contractor. For information about the fund and filing a claim, contact the Florida
State Licensing Board.
