Land Development Regulations. Definitions: Lot corner shall mean a lot abutting two (2) or more streets, or at a street intersection or at a street corner having an interior angle not greater than one hundred thirty- five (135) degrees. The exterior lot line of the narrowest side of the lot adjoining the street shall be considered the front of the lot. The exterior lot line of the longest side of the lot abutting the street shall be considered the side of the lot and shall have a minimum required side yard of ten (10)feet. The opposite side yard and the rear yard shall conform to the minimum yard requirements of the zoning district in which the property is located. Sec. 24-163.(b) Recreational vehicles stored or parked on any residential lot shall be subject to the following provisions: (2) Recreational vehicles, boats or boat trailers or other type of trailer shall not be parked or stored closer than fifteen (15) feet from the front lot line and shall be parked in a manner that is generally perpendicular to the front property line such that length is not aligned in a manner that extends across the front of the lot it being the intent that recreational vehicles, boats and trailers that are parked forward of the residence and should not excessively dominate the front of the lot. (Boat stored in front yard set back) This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removing and ceasing storage of the boat within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice. To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00) per day for continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
