Sec. 108.1.3. Structure unfit for human occupancy. A
structure is unfit for human occupancy whenever the code
official finds that such structure is unsafe, unlawful or
because of the degree to which the structure is in
disrepair or lacks maintenance, is unsanitary, vermin or
rat infested, contains filth and contamination, or lacks
ventalation, illumip:!kion, sanitary or heating facilities
or other essential equipment required by this code, or
because the location of the structure constitutes a hazard
to the occupants of the structure or to the public.

(b) DWELLING UNIT. A single unit providing complete,
independent living facilities for one or more persons,
including permanent provisions for living, sleeping,
eating, cooking and sanitation.

All exterior property and premises shall be maintained in a
clean, safe and sanitary condition. The occupant shall keep
that part of the exterior property which such occupant
occupies or controls in a clean and sanitary condition.

basis.
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by removing all inoperable,
unlicensed,junk, wrecked and partially dismantled vehicles and remove all junk and
debris stored outside, cease occupancy of the metal shed within thirty (30) days of the
posting of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00) per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.

I bought my town home in Atlantic Beach in 2005 , the concerns we
have are increasing with the industrial ) commercial business ' s
across the street. It is beginning to look like a junk
yard. Are they allowed to conduct business on 14TH ST? Their
actual address is Levy, it can be very dangerous with their
large vehicles going in and out. The new business Habitat for
Humanity, loads and unloads and continuously blocks the road
and we are unable to get out of our driveways . We have had an
incident where they had sheet rock on a trailer and it flew
off all over 4 or 5 driveways and all o er the road. They have
been very rude and have threatened to have my car towed. As an
Atlantic Beach resident I want my neighborhood to be safe and a

nice place to live . Can they at least put a privacy fence up?
We aren ' t trying to start a war, we just feel like they are
taking over . It looks
very trashy and unwelcoming.

There have also been trucks and cars parked in the back (FACING
w 14TH ST) that have not moved for years , including a
waverunner . It is not a safe environment for residents ,
children or animals . Also, we have questions about their zoning
permit, if you can please look into this . Being their address
is Levy Rd, and not West 14th st, there is a code for access to
an INGRESS and EGRESS . They enter and exit with their heavy

please investigate this as well .
As we mentioned, we are only bringing this to your attention in

receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliancy on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board ma✓impose fines up to two hundred fifty($250.00)per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code nforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
