After initial review,the following exceptions were noted in your construction plans submitted to this
office as part of the building/mechanical permit process:
1. When resubmitting corrected sheets, please provide a written narrative letter responding to our
comments, along with clouded areas on revised sheets clearly showing areas where changes or
corrections have occurred.
2. Please provide proof of meeting minimum required fire flow requirements for proposed building per
NFPA 1 18.4 and Table 18.4.5.1.2. This can be accomplished by contacting JEA and obtain hydrant flow
test information conducted within the last 12 months and providing report with next submission. Flow
data can also be obtained by private provider as long as it is witnessed by our office. Hydrant must be
within 500' of proposed building measured via drivable fire dept. access rd.
3. Provide the fire alarm design criteria per FAC 61G15-32.008(a-o).
4. Provide exit door tactile signage (Braille) per N.F.P.A. 101, 7.10.1.3./5) Provide light-frame truss-type
construction identification signage per FAC 69A-60.0081 or written verification from a licensed
architect or engineer stating that such structure does not meet the definition of 69A-60.0081. /6)
