Dear Property Owner:
Please be advised, Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement has found your property referenced above
to be in violation of the City of Atlantic Beach, Code of Ordinances, to wit:
VIOLATION
IPMC 302.4 Weeds. All premises and exterior property shall be maintained free from weeds or
plant growth in excess of twelve (12) inches. All noxious weeds shall be prohibited. Weeds shall
be defined as all grasses, annual plants and vegetation, other than trees or shrubs provided;
however, this term shall not include cultivated flowers and gardens.(overgrown yard)
This letter requests that the noted violations be corrected by mowing and cleaning yard
within ten (10) days of the receipt of this notice.
To avoid having this case be referred to the Code Enforcement Board, all listed violations on this
notice must be in compliance on or before the date established by Atlantic Beach Code
Enforcement. The Board may impose fines up to two hundred fifty ($250.00)per day for
continuing violations. Upon completing the corrective action required, it is your responsibility to
contact Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement and arrange for an inspection to verify compliance.
It is our goal to keep our neighborhoods looking well maintained while protecting property
values and your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Please contact Atlantic Beach

Original Notes: The yard, shrubs, trees and weeds are over grown at 607 Selva Lakes Circle
and is now causing a health issue. Since nothing on the side and back yard of
this property is manicured, it has now become a hide out for varmints, snakes
and other disease caring animals. I fear for the safety of myself, my family,
my dog and my neighbors. The inappropriate maintenance and upkeep to this
property has now become a major issue for the surrounding properties. Please
