Let me know what you want to do. The job of removing the gas tanks at the Hess station has apparently been sub contracted more than once and I just got a call from one of the contractors higher up the chain. 1.Originally we were going to get a copy of the DEP Permit, with our permit application, and a test report at the final inspection. 2.Then, it developed that COJ Environmental was inspecting for DEP,there was no written permit, (see email below) but we would get a final test report at the final inspection. 3.Today's caller,Travis Cosgrove, tells me that there will only be a "limited closure summary" with an inspector from COJ on site. No testing unless"someone" detects contaminated soil. Is number 3 OK? I can require a State permit,testing, or notification, so one of your people can be on site. Let me know.
