GENERAL EMPLOYEES' PENSION BOARD MEETING
MEETING MINUTES
January 29, 2015
1. The City of Atlantic Beach General Employees' Pension Board meeting was called to order at
6:33 P.M. The members in attendance were trustees: Timmy Johnson, Ray Brandstaetter, and Gil
Flores. Pension Plan Administrator Nelson Van Liere, Investment Advisor Michael O'Shields, and
Actuary Jim Rizzo from Gabriel, Roeder, Smith, & Company also attended.
2. Courtesy of the floor to visitors.No comments.
3. Discussion and adoption of the investment return.
a. Motion to approve the RP2014 Mortality Table was made by Gil Flores and
seconded by Timmy Johnson. The vote to improve was unanimous.
b. Motion to approve the 7%Rate of Assumption was made by Gil Flores and
seconded by Ray Brandstaetter. The vote to approve was unanimous.
4. New business: No new business
5. Adjournment—Gil Flores made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:59 PM.
