During this process,the builder(Ossi Construction)not only removed most of the existing trees on the property, but they also removed six(6)trees in the right of way between the sidewalk and W street in front of the 2 homes that were built.As a result,there remain only 2 trees along 150 street between Ocean Blvd&Beach Ave. I understand that Ossi will replace 4 of 6 trees removed. Dear Sir(s): Over the past 1 year 9 months,2 homes(195 15' St.&1515 Ocean 81.) have been constructed next to my residence at 175 15'"street.. During this process,the builder(Ossi Construction)not only removed most of the existing trees on the property,but they also removed six(6)trees in the right of way between the sidewalk and 15' street in front of the 2 homes that were built.As a result,there remain only 2 trees along 15° street between Ocean Blvd&Beach Ave. I understand that Ossi will replace 4 of 6 trees removed. I am requesting a permit to replace the remaining 2 trees that were removed,at my expense,with 2 8'-10' "cabbage" palms,to be installed in the grassy ROW in front of my residence. I will also assume responsibility of wring for these trees.These 2 trees will not only replace trees that were removed,but they will also enhance our barren street,which has been described by the City commission on occasion as"rag tag." I have attached several"before"and"after" photos that show how our street used to look and how it looks after the construction of the 2 homes.
