THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT STORM SEWER GRATES TO PREVENT SEDIMENTATION OF THE STORM SEWER SYSTEM. CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN A SEDIMENT BARRIER UNTIL THE DISTURBED AREAS ARE STABILIZED. HOWEVER, THIS NOTE SHALL NOT SUPERSEDE THE REQUIREMENT TO PREVENT ONSITE FLOODING DUE TO GRATE INFLOW LIMITATIONS. 9. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL STORMWATER BASINS AND/OR SWALES FROM SEDIMENTATION DURING CONSTRUCTION. 10. IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS IN CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SEED OR SOD ALL AREAS AND MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL BARRIERS IN PLACE TO PREVENT EROSION, SILTATION AND AND INCREASED RUNOFF. 11. THBCONTRACTOR MUST MAINTAIN THE STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM DURING CONSTRUCTION TO PREVENT FLOODING OF SURFACE AREAS WHILE MINIMIZING SEDIMENTATION DOWNSTREAM. 12. THESE NOTES COMBINED WITH THE DIRECTION GIVEN ON THE PAVING AND DRAINAGE PLAN SHALL CONSTITUTE THE RECOMMENDED SWPPP. ADDITIONAL MEASURES MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON FIELD CONDITIONS DURING CONSTRUCTION.
