Per ESR-1911 (for Buildblock ICF) the allowable withdrawal and lateral capacities of #6, Type W, course-threaded gypsum wallboard screws is 31 lbs and 54 lbs, respectively. Based on the gravity load of the stucco wall covering and the negative wind pressure we recommend that a 1-5/8" #8 SS Screws w/WIND-LOCK ULP 302/402 plastic washers be installed at 12" o c.vertical and 6" o.c. horizontal to the Buildblock ICF embed fastener tabs.
